My passion is making a difference and my challenge is to keep believing that making a difference is possible - whether I make small differences or whether I facilitate and inspire and skill others to make differences. My passion is sustained by thinking about the world theologically. The rub of world against theology and theology against world is what I believe brings the gospel of grace to the streets. The streets where I work have been the context in which my thinking has brewed for many years. North Belfast is its own world with many things in common with other worlds but here in this world of North Belfast, on these streets, I have had to try to make the Word live. Sometimes I have succeeded and sometimes I haven't. The joy is that there is always more to know and learn and that brings its own excitement. The point of this blog is to broaden the brewing context, to refine and hone and challenge. So I share what's going on in my head and heart in the hope that others will share too adding to the potential for inspiration and new discoveries of grace.

In the tradition of @newBelfast a selfie was required. There was fun at the launch of CRWEEK14 but there were challenging lines too:

A shared future is the reality we already live in.

Our freedoms are bound up together, we cannot walk alone.
